CUSD schools will be closed for the winter break beginning Friday, Dec. 20, 2024 through Monday, Jan. 6, 2025. The District Office and all departments will be closed Dec. 24-25 and Dec. 31-Jan. 1. School will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2025.
All-day ASES will be open at elementary sites on Dec. 20 and Jan. 6 from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. for students in grades TK-6, with breakfast, lunch, and snack provided. To attend, students must arrive no later than 10 a.m.
With continued fog and rain in the weather forecast over the coming weeks, visibility may be limited when driving. Please use extra caution, especially in school zones and during drop-off and pick-up times. Together, we can help everyone enjoy a safe holiday season!



All schools and offices in the Ceres Unified School District will be closed in observance of Thanksgiving on Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29, 2024. Classified and Certificated staff took part in an Educational Partner Meeting where the topic was the district's Local Control Accountability Plan, or LCAP. This three-year plan outlines the district's goals, actions, and expenditures to support positive outcomes for all students. All educational partner groups have a voice in the LCAP, including students and community members who met earlier in the month.
